SPECIAL NOTICE for CFS group: Newsgroup trouble

From the Group Manager of alt.med.cfs / CFS-L:

Over the past two weeks or so there has been a technical problem
preventing newsgroup postings from appearing for all groups that are
linked to a mailing list gateway, such as our alt.med.cfs group, as well
as alt.med.cfs.open, alt.health.cfids-action, and hundreds of others.
This is an Internet-wide problem.

Progress is being made on getting it fixed, and hopefully we will see all
old messages get posted. The alt.med.cfs group, for one, has continued to
process 50 to 100 incoming messages every day since July 1, but only the
e-mail subscribers have been seeing all of these messages at the time they
are being distributed.

We are keeping in touch with Usenet gateway officials about the status of
this problem. Please bear with us as this problem is being fixed.
