<< My friend Vicki Hunt had been on the phone with Floyd Christmas at around
7:00PM. He apparently had a massive heart attack. A snice a person as he was
a fine pianist. He was on some of Johnny Copeland's Verve recordings. He
will be missed. >>
Floyd also recorded with Roadside Louie and the Dusters on our compilation
release "Standing Room Only: Songs from the Last Roadhouse", where we
recorded seven bands live at NJ's Great Notch Inn... During the session,
Floyd was a pleasure to work with, and when he found out we were recording,
he really cranked it up a notch (no pun intended...)
