This ‘40’ something, U.S. Marine Veteran, mother and grandmother, known as
the “Princess of the Blues” is one of the hottest performers on the circuit
today. Since the age of 15 Cee Cee has been pleasing crowds of all genres.
Starting her singing career with soul and R&B, she learned early on that jazz
also had a place in her heart. She moved to Atlanta in her 30’s, which
allowed her to expand her musical talents and also gave her the opportunity to live
in Madrid, Spain, where she performed R&B and Motown with “The New
Supremes."

Upon returning to Michigan, she became a part of, and began recording with
the Detroit Underground Band, singing rockin’ blues. The Detroit Underground
Band recorded two CD’s, “Live at the Dally in the Alley” and “Colorblind,"
the last of which features two of Cee Cee's originals. She then went on to
perform with various local artists such as Alberta Adams (Detroit's queen of the
blues), whom she currently tours with as well as Sir Mack Rice, Thornetta
Davis, Cathy “Diva’ Davis, Lady T, RJ's Rhythm Rockers and two late legends
of Detroit blues, Joe Weaver and Willie D. Warren. Cee Cee has also fronted
Witch Doctors and Soul Purpose bands.

She has toured with Alberta Adams and/or RJ's Rhythm Rockers to throughout
Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and also Chicago, Minnesota and New
York. She is an incredible blues & soul vocalist who sings with conviction
and great emotion and is becoming known for her ability to really connect with
an audience. Her latest CD is "Don't Mess Around" with the RJ Spangler Trio
and is on the No Cover Productions label.
