Hello,

As you may have already heard, Bill Barth passed
away. I talked with his brother, Bruce, out of
Cambridge, and he said that he would like to
organize some sort of memorial/musical gathering
in his memory in perhaps September, or around
that time. He's obviously dealing with the more
immediate issues of Bill's passing, but he wanted
to see if there were blues people/musicians in
the New York area that would be interested in
participating in such an event. This could
include those who would want to attend to pay
their respects, or who would like to play in such
a thing. I don't live in the New York area, so
he took the suggestion to post this on blues-L
as a first step. Hopefully, blues fans and
musicians in the New York area can respond
and give Bruce a hand.
