In my book "Roosevelt's Blues: African American Blues and Gospel Songs =
on FDR" (University Press of Mississippi) I analyze 128 blues and gospel =
lyrics that contain political comment on President Franklin Delano =
Roosevelt and his time. For more information see "www.bluesworld.com"

The book is available in the bookshop, but the accompanying CD (Agram =
Blues ABCD 2017) can be bought by sending me $15 in an envelope. It will =
then be sent off straightaway by air mail. The CD contains a =
representative selection of 24 of the songs transcribed in the book.

For the first reviews in a blues magazine see "Blues & Rhythm" 121 and =
122.

I am now writing on Harry S. Truman and the blues singers. In the years =
to come I hope to deal with all the post war Presidents. For this =
purpose there are still some songs I have never heard. Before I will =
publish this wants list in the blues magazines, I want to try my luck on =
Blues-L. If you happen to have one or more songs from this list, I need =
a cassette dub and full details. Please send me a personal E-mail first =
so that I will not receive more dubs of the same song.
