Hi!
We are starting up a company that is developing specialized
software for other companies and organisations.
We also might develop a program for blind people, but
we need to make sure that this sort of software does not
exist.
Any pointers to software for blind people would be
much appreciated.
Cheers, :-)

You can also get DVS from the National Library Service; they have them
at the Andrew Heiskell Library for the Blind and Physically
Handicappedin New York; I'm sure they're available elsewhere.
WGBH is also online and has its own web site -- if you want their
catalog of DVS programs on television and the videos they have
available.

Does anyone know of any Macintosh software (other than CloseView and
inLARGE) that aids the visually impaired? CloseView seems rather jumpy
and inLARGE seems to have trouble on redraw, but we need something that
will invert colors and magnify the screen. Any ideas? Please send
replies to elie...@ben.dev.upenn.edu
Thanks!

Hello, I'm not sure where I found your address, but I have a question. I
know someone who is blind and would like to suggest that the Internet
would be a good place for them to globe trot, but I don't know what
equipment there is out there for a blind person as related to computers.
To get a a very low end Macintosh 512K or Mac + computer set up for a
blind person---would this amount to a large investment in other
equippment? Maybe you can just point me in the right direction to get
this information. Thanks for any help you offer. Joseph Puentes in Maryland.
