I would like to second this, I will and have in the past get up and leave
when this kind of conduct is presented from the stage. I can live with the
few in the audiences who have had a few to many and can't control their
tongue, but not from people who are supposed to be professional and
presenting family entertainment. IMHO, foul language doesn't fit this
description and not very professional. I will not attend concerts that
feature a couple of bands, (that I won't name here) because of the crowd that
they draw, they are loud and obnoxious and ruin the show for everyone else. I
have traveled far, many times to see Del and the boys and have the utmost
respect for them, they are some of the nicest people in the business. I would
not go a mile from home to see Steve Earle for free, with or without the foul
language.

Let me "third" this view. I have refused to listen to those using offending
or irreverent language, no matter how good they perform on stage. I boycott
them, not willing to pay someone to talk to me like that.

I have to agree with you. IMHO, he makes Bob Dylan's singin' sound really
good. Dave Blood
