SOCH, Gurgaon is organizing Autism Movement Therapy® (AMT) program for
the first time in India.

Autism Movement Therapy is a registered trademark of Autism Movement
Therapy Inc. Founder, Joanne Lara is an adjunct professor at National
University in the department of Special Education in Los Angeles,
California.

 This is the only program in the world that incorporates movement and
music in collaboration with Positive Behavior Support (PBS) strategies
to assist individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in meeting
and achieving their speech and language, social and academic IEP
goals.

Although communication deficits are one of the core symptoms of
autism, but surprisingly, not much is out there treatment-wise that
directly helps these children to speak.
 Joanne Lara's successful Autism Movement Therapy® is an
interhemispheric SENSORY INTEGRATION technique that works through
cognitive re-mapping for such children. Several parents have testified

paraprofessionals to be a certified provider of Autism Movement
Therapy® (AMT) at less than half cost as compared to that it takes in
US.
