Firewalls and Ariel

We have just installed the new version of Ariel (compatible with Windows
NT 4.0 which is what we have on campus). Ariel still doesn't work. We
can scan and receive but not send. We took the workstation off of the
firewall and tried it; it still won't work. Any suggestions out there?
