(Fwd) Scheduled Internet outage tomorrow night

(Just a note to say that NYU's internet will be down tomorrow night,
so incoming and outgoing traffic may be effected temporarily. If
something doesn't go out overnight, just resend it next AM, if
something doesn't come it, it should soon enow!)


Our Internet Service Provider, NYSERNet, has informed us that they will be
performing software upgrades of their backbone routers between 11pm and 2am
on October 14 (tomorrow night). The end result to us will be a loss of
NYSERNet and Internet connectivity during that time. The length of the
outage may result in some bounced E-mail - re-sending the message after
Internet connectivity is restored should allow the mail to reach its
destination.
