I have been an "observer" on the List, but thought this worth sharing.
If anyone has a chance to hear and see Mary Ellen, please do so. Her
talk about going to Our Lady with our problems and being persistent in
prayer was so down to earth that it hit home. And seeing someone
experiencing the stigmata...well, Jesus sure loves us!

I attended the Mary Ellen Lucas session at Holy Rosary on Oct 5 and the
healing Mass with Fr. Don Rinfret at St. Louis Church on Oct 12. The
session on Oct 12 was extremely powerful. As she spoke, her crown of thorns
stigmata began to bleed and after her talk, she gave everyone a hug as
Fr. Don blessed us. It was amazing to have her look into your eyes with
that big smile and those big blue eyes of hers, with rivers of blood
streaming down her face. Fr. Don, her ministry team partner, is Fr. Don
Rinfret, S.J., the priest of the East for Our Lady of Light headquartered
in Cincinnati. Our Lady of Light has three priests: Fr. Don in the East,
Fr. Smith in Cincinnati, and Fr. Sweeney at Holy Family parish in Ogden,
Utah. The ministry of Fr. Don and Mary Ellen Lucas is called Our Father's
Work, and subsists on donations. They have to do a lot of travel and have
been invited by the bishops of several diocese to speak in the churches in
those diocese. They have been or will be going to the diocese of
Baltimore, Scranton, Washington DC, Little Rock, Raleigh-Durham, Ireland,
the Phillipines, and others. If you ever have a chance to go to one of
these talks, don't miss it. If you want them to come, the bishop has to
approve it first. Fr. Don has several letters from other bishops he can
send to your bishop to aid in his decision.
Mary Ellen has been a visionary since she was 3 years old, and the Blessed
Mother cured her of a serious ailment at that time, and about a year and
a half ago, also cured Mary Ellen's new baby girl. Mary Ellen is a 40
year old wife, mother of three girls, and very special messenger of God.
You can write to her ministry to get on the mail list of where they will
be, to make contributions, or to get tapes of her talks ($4.00 per cassette
tape),by writing to:

The first time I saw Mary Ellen was Summer of 1994. Fr. Don had told me
about her. She prayed over a fellow with cancer and when she was about four
feet from me, I could smell roses so strong it was amazing. She and Fr. Don
are very special to our Lady and I recommend them to you very highly.
