OBITUARY> Clifford Clogg

[Gene Glass]

Clifford C. Clogg, Professor of Sociology and Statistics at Penn State, died
Sunday, May 7, 1995 at the age of 45. Professor Clogg made numerous
distinguished contributions to statistical analyses, particularly well-known
for his work in categorical data analysis and latent class models. His work
is well-known and influential in educational research and educational
statistics communities.
