The birth of every child born in the Kingdom of Bahrain to Indian parent(s) is required to be registered with the Embassy of India, Bahrain depending upon areas of jurisdiction. The birth of a child in Bahrain is required to be registered with the Embassy within one year of the birth. A copy of the Extract from Birth certificate is issued by the Embassy to the child after registering his/her name as an Indian national and a separate Passport is issued to the new born baby.
Every child who is born to Indian parent(s) in Kingdom of Bahrain is issued a separate passport. There is no need to bring the new born child to the Indian Passport Application Centre or Embassy of India, Bahrain.
Requirements for Birth Registration & New Passport for new born baby:

(i) Only those Indian Nationals born in Bahrain and whose birth was registered with the Embassy, shall be issued duplicate Birth Certificate. In other cases, the applicant may request for a certificate based on the entries on the passport.

I was born in Bahrain. I have seen my original birth certificate. Unfortunately, it's either been misplaced, or I no longer have the means to take possession of it (long story). All I have is a picture of the front cover of the birth certificate. I don't recall if this was ever in my sole possession, and if I misplaced it in a move, or if it was never in my possession (so would technically be with my parents, but ... that's the long story I don't want to get into as to why I can't simply ask them).

Starting as of May 2021, to help our graduates receive and store their certificates issued by the University onto a secure digital platform and be able to share them with their employers or third parties with a simple click, RCSI Bahrain adopted the process of issuing graduation certificates through a tamper-free, blockchain-secured platform called Blockcerts.
Having your certificate on the blockchain means that your original record is always in your possession. You can choose to share your certificate publicly on a social media profile (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), or send it privately by email or text message. You can also include links to your certificate on your resume, public portfolio, or applications, to allow your potential employers to verify your qualifications easily.
As long as you have your password, you can import your certificate to a new app at any time and still prove that it belongs to you. The password is also what allows you to maintain ownership of your certificates across multiple devices. So, for example, you can enter the password into the Blockcerts app you download on your tablet or another phone, then import the same certificate to that app too.
If you lose your password, however, there is no way to prove ownership of your certificates. Therefore, you will need to download the app again, get a new password, and contact Blockcerts to help in re-issuing your certificates.
Currently, the issuer provides a link to their credentials in the certificate and the standard validation process performs a cryptographic check that the public key at that link actually signed the certificate.
The friendly version of the certificate displayed online may shift visually, depending on the device displaying it. For instance, it may appear one way in a mobile app and slightly differently in a web browser. While this display may be optimised for different circumstances, the data within the certificate can never be changed.
As part of this process, applicants must provide the original copy of their high school transcript and certificate with the relevant accreditation by the respective Ministry of Education in the country of study.
Although we ask for these original documents before starting your studies in the University, we understand that this process can take some time to complete, or that the original certificate may not have been issued by the time the programme starts and alternative submission dates can be arranged in special circumstances.
This service is provided by the Information & eGovernment Authority for issuing a unique personal number for newborns through bahrain.bh portal and allows them to request the issuance of a birth certificate, request an extract of the birth certificate, and amend the birth certificate data by court order.

The Information & eGovernment Authority is responsible for registering and issuing certificates for births and deaths, according to Law No. 7 of 2019 regulating the registration of births and deaths, in an effort to regulate births and deaths procedures in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The circumstances of birth and death may vary for different reasons, and the following procedures are to be followed depending on the situation.
