It is important to put the proper pieces together to make this work.
I'm still at it.
Currently, this project resembles construction on a vacant building. I
am not so much interested about who moves in and what they do, as I am
in providing a place for them to move into.
That's why I have no answer to questions such as: What line of
business is the co-op into? What does it do? Those decisions are left
up to the people who move in.
At first, I figure the members will just look around, share ideas and
information. They will get a feel of what they have to work with,
before deciding what to work on. I suspect our association will share
information and ideas before they take on larger projects.
My contribution is similar to providing a building, not the business
that moves into it. I'm not here to say it must be a baker, a grocer,
or a candle stick maker. All I can say, is here it is. Would you care
to move in?
Currently, I am investigating social sites that we might make use of.
Social sites are great for finding like-minded individuals, business
contacts, and even building a customer base if that is your wish.
For the last week I've been investigation HubPages at
http://www.hubpages.com/
and I'm rather impressed. This site refers to user contributions as
hubs, rather than blogs. I've written three in the last week.
I believe the topics I chose to write on will aid this project as
well. There are three topics, but I think the one you might find of
most value is
