Hello Everybody,

There are three of us now. That's two more than I'd expect at this
time.

Later, we will begin a membership drive to build the numbers.

Right now, I am very busy fixing a serious PC problem caused by a
Trojan horse. I downloaded what appeared to be an executable eBook on
mind-mapping. The file was actually a Trojan installer and settings
modifier. It corrupted my registry, installed a few nasty programs,
and apparently altered the boot sectors on my hard drives. In short,
my system is mess up bad!

My Comodo Security Suite caught most of it, but the parts that got
past the malware antivirus software did considerable damage. I could
not boot any drive on the PC, until I changed the CMOS settings.
Still, I have far to go before my PC is ready for me to help build
this co-op.

Until then, we can use this group, chat, or email to get to know each
other.

Hello Everyone,

I am still busy fixing the damage to my PC. I've had to search for the
damage, disassemble the chasis move drives around, defrag, partition,
and more. Much of this recovery work could be avoided had I made a
more recent backup or cared a little less for the data I would
otherwise lose.

Until, I get everything back in order and have my own PC to work with
again, I shall continue to monitor this group and post on occasion
from whatever PC I can find available.

I have just changed the Welcome file on the home page again. I did it
in haste, so it may still need work and may be a tad redundant.

That's it for now. As administrator of this group, I'll try to check
back in or post at the very least once a week.
