Hi,
The dbSNP.vcf that we add in the bissnp -T BisulfiteGenotyper analysis is supposed to be a database of known SNPs in the species/population. Is it ok if the dbSNP;vcf is the SNP file of the individual itself for which wer're doing the bisulfite genotyping? This SNP file was obtained from genomic sequencing of that individual.
Thanks in advance,
Best,
Marie-Joe

Hi Marie-Joe,
I have never tried that before. But in theory, it should be fine to do with it.

best,

Yaping
