After a couple years of hosting this event, I think many of us know some
of the pitfalls we all run up against. The biggest one is preparing too
late in the season. SO, we are starting now! There are a number of
things we can do, and definitely some new and old ideas I've been
hearing. I've thrown a number of them out there already:
- THE BOX
- LUG Wiki
- LUG Website
- Internet Sponsorship
Here are some more ideas I got from other people:
- Advertising (Noon Report?)
- Getting Stuff from the FSD to pass out
- Sign up at the Library
- Sign up at a both at the Folkfest
- Presentations at the library
In anyway, I'm starting a thread so we get get rolling on this and make
it a super awesome event. Mark your calendars for two possible dates:
Sept 18 & 25, both are Saturdays
