So I'm looking into possibly building a machine for handling a DVD collection that will be ripped to digital versions. I'd like to be able to use my TV as the monitor. Any suggestions on what distro to use, or how to go about it?

If someone has a nearly completely automated solution for ripping movies, I'd love to hear about it. But I have yet to find one that's automated enough to make it worthwhile. It's been a while since I've looked though.
