Greetings!
This is Rich Goldman, Wearer of Many Hats for the production of BIRTH - being presented by Birth & Beyond this Labor Day weekend. We need your help!
Are you interested in helping out behind the scenes at a professional theatre for a live show? We are looking for people to fill the following roles:
Stage Crew: Help back stage with setting the stage between scenes, helping actors with costumes, props, entrances/exits and so on.
Properties Master/Mistress: Ensure all properties (stuff the actors hold/carry) is ready for each show, keep thing organized, clean, easy to find, and help the actors find what they need when they need it.
Lights / Sound operators: You are in control! You control the horizontal, you control the vertical, you make the lights turn on and off, you play the music.
No prior experience is required. These are all important roles and we need people to fill them! We will need you to commit to at least the week of rehearsals up to the show ( as much as possible Aug 24-28), and of course the performances themselves (Aug 29-31).
Finally, we are looking for someone to be in charge of Making the Program. This requires some experience with desktop publishing. Content is already being gathered. We need someone to help put it all together to send to the printers.
