Hello to all,

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS A SURPRISE TO TY

Hope everyone is getting in all the riding they need during these cold
months!  I wanted to let you know that the Dec-20th BBL will be a
dedication ride for out local boy "TY" making a go towards the Pro ranks
of cycling.  He will be leaving Jan-05 for Tucson, AZ to further his
training!  A group of us cyclist thought it would be a nice gesture if
we all came together as a cycling community in support of our local Pro.
So, we are dedicating the Dec-20th BBL in this cause and are asking that
everyone make a donation to help Ty offset his expense!  This ride will
leave from Birmingham Bike (a sponsor of Ty) and will have free lunch
after the ride (compliments of Milos).  So be sure to attend, enjoy the
BBL Ride, make a donation and eat free food and let Ty know that the
Birmingham cycling community is in full support of our local pro and his
goals!

Have a safe Holiday season and I look forward to seeing a big turnout on
Dec-20th.

TERRY DURAN

NOTE: THE BBL (BIRMINGHAM BICYCLE LEAGUE) RIDE LEAVES FROM STARBUCK'S COFFEE ON MONTCLAIR BLVD AT 9:00 ON SATURDAYS.

2: ROAD BIKE FOR SALE:

I have a carbon road bike for sale.  The bike is essentially a Masi 3VC high modulus carbon bike that has been brand labeled as a “Rider Super Lite”.  The frames weighs about 1000 grams!

Here is a link to the Masi frame http://masibikes.com/tab2_subNav1.php

The Rider is “nude” carbon with a clear coat.  The size is a 56.  I got the frame the 1st of September and I “retired” the frame the day after the Pepper Place criterium after getting a bike sponsor for 2009 and becoming a dealer of my sponsor’s brand.

The bike will come with these basic components all of which have never been ridden (I’ll actually have to order the parts to get them to you).

·         Alpha Q GS 10 fork, stem and seat post (possibly FSA SLK post)

·          3T bars

·          Shimano RS10 wheels (or Fulcrum 5 Evolution Racing for $149 more)

·          Michellin Pro 3 Race Tires

·          Sella Italia SLK Saddle

1.       Frame with Ultegra SL                    $1999

2.       Frame with SRAM Force                $2149

3.       Dura Ace 7800                                   $2299

a.       Add $149 for Fulcrum 5 Racing Evolution wheels instead of the Shimano RS10 wheels

b.      Add $149 for Speedplay Zero Pedals (Stainless)

                                                              i.      I can process credit, debit or Pay Pal, however there will be a 2% add on for processing.

ii.      It will take about 6-8 days for the parts to come in once ordered.

With most bikes, you wouldn’t be able to get out the door with the frame for the price I’m offering for  the complete bike.

All parts will be brand new and the frame will only have 2 weeks of riding on it.  When I had this build up with Dura Ace and my SRM, the bike weighed around 16 pounds.
