time to take the new hotel

drive.



On February 2, AKA Groundhog Day
<http://trk.cp20.com/Tracking/t.c?ZERj-kNqN-16xa0F8> , we'll be hosting
our first official event at our new host hotel
<http://trk.cp20.com/Tracking/t.c?ZERj-kNqO-16xa0F9> . This event will
be FREE to attend, and we'd love to have you and any other fans you'd
like to invite join us!



We'll be touring the property, measuring the drapes, and
brainstorming for July. We'll also be hosting 24 hours of open board
gaming, from Saturday at 4PM to Sunday at 4PM. Plus we'll have a small
21+ party room available, for those interested--and yes, we will of
course be playing the movie. Then we'll be playing it again. And it'll
Play On and On and On and On.



Groundhog Day

to host for the POC 6 year instead of POCtoberfest. We also still plan
to host our usual Pre-Con event in the Spring. Look for more details on
that in a later newsletter!

can help us show the property to anyone who cannot make it. We look

play with us, though, we reserve the right to accuse you of time loop
abuse.












Play On Con*Tourage!





We're pleased to confirm that Con*Tourage

to host their signature party events at Play On Con for a third year!
That means if you're in a party dorm room

, you just might wake up to the smell of pancakes one morning! Then
you'll be able to kick off your day appropriately by loading up on
carbs, taking in the view, sipping on mimosas, and talking about the
war. Also, though we cannot unveil Con*Tourage's Saturday night party
theme just yet...suffice it to say that they're "into" our new venue.



We're also pleased to confirm that we're now sponsoring
three of Con*Tourage's Atlanta events this year--so while you're marking
your calendar for POC 6 and Groundhog Day, we'd also like to invite you
to join us at these!



First up, on February 16, we have a Winter Edition of last
fall's highly successful Hair of the Dragon

feeling you get when you walk around the Dragon*Con
<http://trk.cp20.com/Tracking/t.c?ZERj-kNqV-16xa0F6> hotels amid all
the costuming and photography, and if you simply cannot wait until Labor
Day weekend for more, this El Presidente-approved

you!



Then on March 23 we have the second annual Infestation

of 21+ con parties with costume contests, and if you like dancing the
night away with pro DJs, you'll probably love Infestation. Last year's
premiere was a huge success, and...we had quite a good time

Last but not least, May the Fourth (Be With You) gets a
full day of celebration from Con*Tourage this year with Bash of the

warm things up at a restaurant with a really cool little Star
Wars-themed menu <http://trk.cp20.com/Tracking/t.c?ZERj-kNqa-16xa0F7> ,
then we move on to a 21+ dance party

Stormtroopers, and all sorts of scum and villainy. Attend it, you
should!

We probably won't be able to send out a newsletter for all
of them, but we'll also be involved with a bunch of other fandom-related
events throughout the year, including a Nashville con this weekend

In other news that we generally blog about more than we
email, the price for POC 6 pre-registration

the end of this month, so you may wanna jump on it now at $40. If you
opt to wait until February 1, though, we promise your extra $5 will go
to one or more good causes, possibly including new toys for the pool.



Also of note, we still have a few dorm rooms left in our
POC Shop <http://trk.cp20.com/Tracking/t.c?ZERj-kNqh-16xa0F4> , but
we've sold out of rooms in the main hotel. We're hoping to free up a
few more hotel rooms by moving some hotel guests over to dorms, and our
Hospitality Director
<http://trk.cp20.com/Tracking/t.c?ZERj-kNqi-16xa0F5> is keeping a hotel
rooms waiting list in case we succeed, so please contact him as soon as
you can if you're interested in being listed! We're also preparing to
open up an overflow hotel if/when the dorms all sell out, but the
commute will not be particularly short, so we highly recommend grabbing
up something on-site if you can!
