Vulcan Gamebox has invited us to play in their space, so this Monday
(September 12) we'll be running a trial night starting at 6:00pm. If
things go well, we may be moving our Monday nights there permanently.

It is FREE to attend, and the available space should be comparable to
what we're using at Brookwood Mall.

Vulcan Gamebox is located off Highway 280 East, at 701 Doug Baker
Blvd. It's in the same shopping area as the big RAVE theater near the
Publix.

The nice thing about Gamebox is that they're open until 10:00pm and
have offered to stay open later to accommodate us. There will be
snacks and drinks available to buy (please consider showing your
support by purchasing from our host rather than bringing in your own),
and there are several good restaurants in the shopping complex. I
suggest Mt. Fuji for a sit-down meal, and there's a Moe's and a
Zaxby's if you need something quick.

Several of our members have previously expressed interest in having a
weekly event out toward highway 280, and it will benefit the group in
the long run to have two different locations available. We normally
have to cancel our Brookwood group between Thanksgiving and Christmas,
and there's always a chance that the mall management will decide they
don't want us there anymore. Having another quality, free-of-charge
space available definitely expands our options.

I realize that this may be a longer drive for some group members, but
it's more convenient for others, and hopefully the ability to play
later (and play longer games) will make up for a bit of extra driving
time. Our Wednesday night Brookwood group will continue as always, at
least until the holiday season.

Thanks,
Christian
