Trying to get the word out...

Hi there!
Part of the purpose of this webpage is to try and get a new Birmingham
User group going. We are asking that all those people in the area who
are lucky enough to have an OLPC to bring it to the TechMixer Expo
this Tuesday, February 12th to help generate interest for this group.

We brought an OLPC to a recent tech seminar in Birmingham and were
amazed at the interest people showed. This gave us the idea for an
OLPC User/Interest group.

I am going to be drafting a brief handout with information about this
group that we are going to distribute at the TechMixer. I'd love to
hear any ideas you may have on how to get a successful group going!

I will be bringing my two XO laptops tonight. I really haven't played
with them much since I received them. I am hoping to discuss hacks
that I can do with them. I would also like to find out the best places
on the Internet to find information about hacking these laptops.
