Developer position

This position is in Huntsville.

Allstates is seeking a talented Java Developer who will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle including database, web, application, and integration development. You will work with a team of cross-functional developers to provide a Java-based customer portal application.

Required:

·         BS Degree in CS, MIS or similar

·         8 yrs experience in software development

·         3 yrs Java experience (minimum)

·         Oracle Application Developer Framework (ADF)

·         Oracle Application Server 10g

·         CSS, XML, and HTML

·         MS SQL Server

·         Strong understanding of object-oriented design (OOD)

·         Agile/Scrum processes and XP development experience (is a plus)

·         Good communication skills - Individual will do regular demos of functionality to a product owner and end users; interface directly with users to provide quick resolution to critical support issues

·         Experience with SOA and EAI/ESB is preferred

·         Experience with a source control management solution is required
