Dear April and Randall,
The cheese tasting went very well, perfectly I'd say. Randall was wonderful, enthusiastic and erudite. The cheeses were really great, across the board. I appreciate being introduced to some excellent new (for me) cheeses. The other food (nuts, bread crackers, fruit) was also great. The chocolate at the end was the perfect thing to finish with. Thank you SO much for doing this. We all really enjoyed it. I hope we can do it again someday.

Joel,
Congratulations on an excellent Chowdown. You did a great job of
organizing it, especially considering this was far more difficult to
put together than just choosing a restaurant and herding the cats
toward it.
It was very fun, very educational and I discovered several new cheeses
(I walked out with four last night -- The Nancy's Hudson Valley
Camembert, Roth Kase Private Reserve, Mountaineer and Alabama's own
Piedmont from Yellow Moon/Wright Dairy).
The accompaniments were perfect (anyone ask about the brand of those
round crackers -- they just right fo rtasting cheese), and Randall was
fantastic.
But top praise goes to you, Joel. Great job. and Thank you.

Here here! Joel you did a fantastic job to bring this all together!
The cheese tasting was a long time dream come true. Randall did an
excellent job guiding us through the cheeses. I feel I'm now on the
right path to discovering new cheeses, and feel a bit more confident
to start my own exploration through the cheese world.
