Hey Hounds.

I'm in Toronto and have been on CH for about 3 years now. Lately an
increasing number of us have become rather disenchanted with CH and
more specifically, the moderators. It seems there's a power trip
taking place.

I was just wondering if you have been feeling the same as us.

In the 6 or so years I have been on chowhound, it hasn't been perfect
but it has helped me find great restaurants in cities more than any
other site. Yes, the admins can be a little heavy-handed but I can
deal with it.

For the most part, I agree with Dax. They can be heavy handed -- IMO
very, at some times. I really don't like the fact that we can't have a
factual discussion of health ratings on the board, even with links to
the actual department of health evaluation. I think that is a factor
for many people deciding where to eat.
They can go on a power trip. But then again, it's their trip; I'm just
there for the ride.
Chowhound has enhanced my enjoyment of restaurants here in town and
has been a great evenue to research when I go to other places.
