Dear Mr Thiagarajan Thanks for your apt response. while our school curricula is heavily loaded with subjects to chew the brain... there is hardly anything called "Common sense" that can be included in any subject. Be it about hygiene, good habits, street manners, driving manners or anything to do with public places and mass behaviour. one either picks these from their elders or have
a very aware conscience about such things that can harm people/ places/ or things. Now that CBSE boasts of classroom behaviour (Which hopefully means "commonsense" too as a part of the overall development of the child, it may see how it can be tested on some parameter because the parents want MARKS for everything the child does at school. This can help in forming a particular syllabus that would be implemented for getting additional marks and also make children practice good habits.
