Now Bhumika Helpline is 24 Hours

Dear friends,

Greetings from Bhumika Women's Collective! 

We are very happy to inform with you all that, our Bhumika Helpline is available for 24 Hours now.  In 2006, we have started the Helpline with  a tollfree number 1800 425 2908  and functioning from 8 AM to 11 PM with 3 Professional Counselors in shifts and reached to more than 55,000 women and girls till now.  

From 1st  April, 2015 our Helpline is functioning 24 Hours to extend more support to survivors and available round the clock (24 x 7).  The services of Helpline are open for 24 hours, even on Sundays except National Holidays.  

We are thankful to everyone for your support to Bhumika in promoting the services of Helpline and look forward for the same co-operation further.  We request you to please support us in publicising / forwarding the Helpline number to the women and girls in your areas of work / project areas, so as the distressed women avail the services of Helpline.  

We hope Helpline reaches to all the women and girls in distressed conditions and contribute more in promoting a violence free society for women and girls.
