I am writing to seek financial assistance to help me continue my education and achieve my dream of becoming an astronaut.My Background and Achievements
I come from a humble middle-class family; my father works in a Sagar cement factory, and my mother is a homemaker. Despite financial constraints, I have always been passionate about space science and astrobiology. My dedication and hard work have led me to be one of the 9 students in India's first Astrobiology and Space Science master's program (2023-25) at the Centre of Excellence in Astrobiology, Amity University Mumbai. I am proud to share that I scored an 8.88 CGPA in my first semester.I am honored to have won the Best Oral Presentation Award for “Human Body Functions During Analog Astronaut Mission” at the National Space Science Symposium (NSSS 2024) conducted by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Goa University.
Experience and Contributions
Throughout my journey, I have actively participated in various analog astronaut missions and research programs, which have significantly enhanced my skills and knowledge in space science:
- Mission Pegasus - Lunares Research Station, Poland (March 2024): Served as the Crew Medical Officer and Biolab Officer, participating in simulated extra-vehicular activities and conducting hydroponics-based lunar germination experiments.
- Mission Ceareluna - Expedition 65, Analog Astronaut Training Centre, Poland (August 2023): Worked as a Crew Astrobiologist, leading biological experiments and studying the effects of isolation and confinement on gut biomes.
- Earth & Space Exploration Program (ESEP), Ladakh, India (August 2022): Conducted hands-on Mars analog research and explored geomorphology.
Financial Need
As I enter my third semester, I must pay the university semester fee of Rs. 79,000/-. My parents have managed to cover the hostel fee (Rs. 80,000/-), but we cannot meet the semester fee due to our financial limitations.
Request for Assistance
