Windows 8.1, working wifi connection. Had my printer for many years now. It acts like it's printing, including slowing down on more dense areas, but the paper comes out blank when fed from both the upper and lower cassettes.
My Pixma MX922 has suddenly started printing nothing but blank pages. It doesn't matter whether I try and print on letter or photo paper. I've done a dozen deep cleanings to no avail. I went on YouTube to learn how to remove and clean the print head. Still no difference.
I've talked to Tech Support and they suggested a new print head. As I said, I removed and cleaned the print head and still got nothing but blank pages. I don't want to throw good money after bad, especially since I've yet to read of one user who replaced the print head and fixed the problem.
So, the question is open to this fine forum: has anyone actually fixed the problem of a Pixma MX922 printing blank pages? If you'd be kind enough to share the solution, I'd sure appreciate it, as I'm sure many others would as well.
I have seen this problem with many of the Canon 5 & 6 cartridge inkjet printer models. The symptom is that the printer suddenly stops printing ink onto the page even though the cartridges all contain ink and the print-head is not blocked. By suddenly, I mean one printjob prints perfect and the next is totally blank. Printing out a nozzle test also results in a completely blank page.
Word includes a non-deleteable end-paragraph that sometimes gets pushed out to a new, blank page at the end of a document. The way to delete the page is to make the end-paragraph fit onto the preceding page. The most sure-fire way is to make the end-paragraph very small (1 point):
Next Page, Odd Page, and Even Page section breaks may create a blank page in your document. If the blank page occurs at the end of your document and you have a section break there, place your cursor directly before the section break and press Delete.
You no longer need a manual page break. Whenever you style a paragraph Heading 1, a page break is automatically generated (associated with the chapter heading, so there is no empty paragraph). If this would lead to a left page, Writer will insert a really empty blank page on its own to cope with page parity.
Apparently my university is unaware that theses are generally published as books, as one such requirement is the removal of ALL blank pages from the document. This includes the blank pages before and after each 'Part' label and after Chapters to ensure the next chapter starts on the right.
I have changed 'twoside' to 'oneside' and specified 'openany' - however, this has no effect on the document. I have limited experience with latex; I would greatly appreciate an explanation of how to remove the blank pages, and why what I am currently doing is not working.
I was having the same issue where no other suggestions like openany, oneside, clearpage, etc. worked. At first your method did not work either, but I had to include the blank line before the last line (\endgroup) for it to work. Just thought I'd leave this comment to help anyone else in the future.
If still someone having an issue with blank pages in PDF, just increase the width of the main report to a few inches. Keep reducing to an optimum value by checking the report. No need to change anything else.
In Visio 2013 I had a similar problem where and blank second page would not go away. Eventually I realized that there is a "Page" area at the bottom (like worksheets in excel), and I could delete "Page-2" there.
I have documents that have blank pages in between sections and I'd like to remove all the blank pages. I know I can manually select and delete but since I do this task a fair bit I just wanted to see if there was a faster way.
I am working on a book that has 114 pages. I have two files. One is titled "a" and the other "b". The "b" file was the first file I created. It has 114 pages with 58 spreads. File "a" is the second file that was created and also has 114 pages with 58 spreads. I created file "a" to re-place images that turned out exceptionally blurry when I printed file "b". In file "a" I also reordered some of the images and then edited the contents page numbers to reflect the reordering that occured. When I initially printed file "b" 12 blank pages were added, so instead I added 12 photo pages, 6 extra spreads. So file "b" was initially 102 pages and 52 spreads. When I go to file > print booklet > booklet type set to 2-up perfect bound > signature size 16 > preview, I have no extra pages added. File "a" is file "b" edited. When file "a" is open I go to file file > print booklet > booklet type set to 2-up perfect bound > signature size 16 > preview I have 15 blank pages added at thed end of the booklet. I am confused as to why this is happening and how to resolve it. Any help would be appreciated.
file "a" had 116 pages and that was when I first encountered the problem. I thus opened file "b" which like I wrote wasn't having the added pages inserted when attempting to print booklet. Thus my first step was to delete the two extra pages yet still the problem
And what is most frustrating is that the dummy that I made of the book with scrap paper, penciling in all the pages, everything aligned fine. I have printed and bound many books before, mostly printed using a letterpress or manually ordering the pages into separate pdf files for each signature that I then printed one at time. I had hoped InDesign would have streamlined the process for me.
I have used the AirPrint for several years. But for some reason, I can no longer print, well, it comes out blank. It recognized the printer and I even have a preview but when it prints out, It's a Blank Page. Any help would be appreaciated. I recently upgraded to the IOS 17.02. Does that have anything to do with it? Need Help. I use this option at my work when people send me pics. I use the Iphone 11 Pro
I have found that since upgrading my devices to iOS/iPadOS 17 (all the way up to 17.0.3) I get blank pages when I AirPrint from the photos app, but things print normally from mail and safari. I use an HP M401dne and I have already updated the firmware to the latest HP provides (20210202). I find it odd that it only happens when printing from the photos app.
Same issue for me. I upgraded my iPhone 14 to iOS 17.0.3 and now I air print only blank pages from my Photos app. I tried a document from Files and it works fine. I've restarted the router, printer and iPhone to no avail. Seems Photos has a glitch??
Same problem, it started printing blank pages instead of the photo, the exact day IOS 17 came out. The latest IOS 17.1 update from last week has not fixed it either. Apple needs to acknowledge and get on this ASAP, this is a very critical feature I have used for the past 5 years for my business.

I'm sure I'm missing something very obvious here but I've really tried everything I can think of. A friend asked me to set up his new VersaLink C7020 printer and everything appears to be working fine when I print or copy. It makes all the rights noises, lights up in the right places. But all that comes out is blank pages. This is the same no matter whether I print or scan and regardless of whether I use the feeder tray at the top or place a sheet on the glass. Printing test pages doesn't help. More strangely, when I look at the drums at the bottom, I can see that toner is coming through. It's as if the powder isn't sticking to the drums.
I have a user who can't print via Outlook 2010 because a simple one page email may show that it's 115 pages long. There is a black line on page one and the remaining pages are blank. Other Office 2010 applications work fine. I can send the email to OneNote and it acts like it's supposed to. I have mapped to other printers with no luck. I have uninstalled and re-installed Office 2010 with no luck. I haven't been able to find a comparable issue in the Google World.
I found a solution to this issue, I close outlook and then go to control panel. I open the mail option and then click on profiles. I then select add in order to add a new profile. Fill in any information that is needed. At the bottom select the new profile as the one to use. Re-open outlook and it should print without the extra blank page.
I have AutoCad LT 2019. When I first installed my printer was printing fine. This morning I'm trying to print some drawings with my default windows printer, there are just printing blank pages. A setting must got changed by mistake but I don't know which one. When I click on the printer icon and select my printer, click on the preview button, it just shows a blank page.
I'm not sure if this has been covered in another thread, and/or if this is specifically due to the update to 1.9, but at the moment I'm having trouble exporting a flattened PDF and also smaller size multi-page pdf's from Publisher. This is with both new documents and old documents that, prior to the 1.9 update, I was able to export flattened/small size PDFs of with no issues.
Essentially what happens is that I will select the preset for PDF (flatten) and upon export, all the pages are blank. Image attached below along with images of my export settings. I don't know if this is due to the update, or if I somehow checked or unchecked something by accident, but if I use the (for print) presets, the exports work. In addition to this even the PDF (digital-small size) preset is exporting a file that is over 600MB, even though the DPI is set to 72dpi. It seems like as soon as I attempt an export telling it to rasterize everything in the export settings, I get a PDF that is blank. Again, this has never happened before and is now even happening on old documents which never had this issue.
