Lake Waco Wetlands

I spent a couple of hours at the Wetlands this morning. I spotted a
huge Great Blue Heron on the far berm and when I got the scope on it,
I was surprised to see a larger Northern Harrier a little to the right
of it and hopping down the bank after something. A large group of
Black Vultures were down on the dried flats and I panned them with the
scope to find a Crested Caracara among them. I got a not so good
picture of it later and also one of a male American Kestrel. Water in
pond 1 only. Pumps still not repaired.
