Lake Waco starting at the Twin Bridges and moving to the HOT Mini-
Aircraft Field
and on to the Lake Waco Marina. Sunny, 65-72F

A Red Tailed Hawk sat on the exit sign to the Twin Bridges ramp. Cliff
Swallows
flew the field of the park as well as under the bridges. Further, on
Overflow
Road, was another Red Tail that may be the same one that Eric sighted
a while
back as it perches with the right wing drooping giving it a broken
wing look.
However, it will fly and did so well enough. Best sighting of the day
came when
I found a single female Painted Bunting "entertaining" three males on
a fence
line leading into the marina. Also, I had a sighting of a Tree Swallow
in a
small tree on the back side of the marina. 32 species recorded.
