to Birding - With a Purpose
Short Eared Owls have been observed since the Eastern CBC near Waco,
Texas. On several occassion many members of the Central Texas
Audubon
Society have visited the fields off Old Mexia Road to watch these
owls. Short Ears tend to hunt the same fields as do Northern
Harriers; the harriers by day and the owls by night. Photos by Bryan
