to Birding - Sharing birding with others.
This morning Eric, a birding comrade, informed me that there were
about 100 Yellow Headed Cowbirds in a mixed flock in the mowed field
of the Waco Airport off Flat Rock Road near the intersection with the
China Spring Highway. When I was able to get there about 10:30 AM, I
also found 3 Bob-o-Links and about 25 Dickcissels. Red Winged
Blackbirds, Eastern Bluebirds, Scissortails, and Morning Dove were on
the fence. A Red Tailed Hawk was flying over Steinbeck Bend Road.
