Published sightings for the week ending 7 Aug 2011.

Sat 6 Aug Scarlet-chested Parrot and Painted Honeyeater Taylorville Station
3 individuals, Male and Female observed at nesting hollow. Immature observed at different location. Excellent views and photos of all individuals taken. Painted Honeyeater (male) observed later in the day. Observed by Kay Parkin, Chris Steeles, Mike and Steve Potter.

Mon 1 Aug Painted Honeyeater, Scarlet-cheasted Parrot Gluepot entrance rd, Taylorville Station
1 male painted honeyeater seen foraging and singing. 4 scarlet-chested parrots.

Sat 30 Jul Scarlet-chested Parrot Gluepot
At least 8 birds were seen with females checking hollows. Same site as Helga Kieskamp had seen them on 23rd July

Wed 10 Aug Crested Shrike-tit Altona Landcare Reserve
Single bird high in Eucalypt calling in the rain.

Tue 9 Aug Little Eagle, Scarlet-chested Parrot Taylorville Station
Little Eagle (1) Flying low arcs above old mallee just south of Gypsum walk carpark. Scarlet-chested Parrot (6) Three pairs of parrots observed in vicinity of Gypsum Lunette walk loop.

Wed 13 Jul Buff-banded rail Muloorina waterhole,near Lake Eyre south
Also seen at the causeway at Innaminka in July. This report is second hand but i thought it was worth letting you know.
