During the ABCTV news coverage of the first cricket test from Bangalore,
India, this evening they showed some excellent close up shots of what
looked like Black Kites soaring over the oval.
I've never been birding in India - does this mean I can officially start
my Indian Bird List?

I wonder if we'd hate them as much if kites replaced silver gulls
around the city?
