Thu 22 Mar | Masked Owl (probable)
Hobart Intercity Cycleway
A friend of mine asked me about a bird she spotted riding North at around 9:30 pm. The following descriptions were given: * Owl, ~30 cm, brown, defined face mask, raggedy wing tips. * mask was well-defined, pale and with a widows peak in the space above the eyes. * On the bike track, near some trees, past the bridge. A search of the area and domain might be fruitful! Priya Kitchener via JJ Harrison |
