Apostlebird (2) Two birds flushed from bushes at roadside on eastern limit of town -the Morgan side of Eudunda.

Thu 22 Mar Brown Falcon Immanuel College Novar gardens
Our resident Brown Falcon (presumed female) has finally been joined by a smaller slightly, darker brown falcon (presumed male) at Immanuel College Novar Gardens. Usually easily spotted sitting on the chapel ledge, seen by students hunting the lorikeets/ parrots over the oval.

Sat 31 Mar Rock parrot Stenhouse bay Innes NP.
Along the cliff edge that overlooks the sea saw 10 pairs of birds in a flock.

Spotted Harrier, Black Falcon Lower Light 10' Cell
Spotted Harrier (1) flushed from high weedy cover on left side of road midway between Pt. Wakefield Rd and SA Rifle Club Black Falcon (1) Approx. 300m further along road from Harrier, sitting atop fence post. Took flight and slowly circled above car and adjacent paddock

Pacific Golden Plover, Black-tailed Godwit Thompson Beach
Pacific Golden Plover (1) lone bird just north of Petrel Ct. walkway onto beach - well back form waters edge. Nice to see coming into breeding plumage Black-tailed Godwit (1) one bird among small group of 7 Barwits - wingbar/tail picked out in flight as birds wheeled about shore adj. to Petrel Ct. - landed shortly after allowing for better views.

Fri 30 Mar Little Eagle Gawler Airstrip, Gawler west
Little Eagle (1) Excellent views of a single eagle thermalling about 100 metres up over the eastern edge of the Gawler Airstrip.

Mon 26 Mar Rock Parrot Port Parham
Saw at least 6 pairs of birds... Got good close very distinct views. Birds were in areas of sand dunes near the coast.

Sun 18 Mar Sooty Shearwater, Buller's Albatross, Wandering Albatross etc Port MacDonnell pelagic
Heaps of birds, but nothing too rare. Highlights were Sooty Shearwaters hanging around close to boat; a Little Penguin that popped up beside boat on shelf, and; good numbers of albatrosses (8 Wandering, 1 distant Royal, around 10 Buller's -all adult). Heaps of Flesh-footed Shearwaters; 2 WIlson's Storm Petrels & 1 White-faced, and; 1 Hutton's Shearwater close to shore.
