Previously, sites such as the Ansys Customer Portal and Ansys Help were accessed using a Customer Portal account, while other sites such as the Ansys Cloud portal were accessed using an Ansys ID. Now, all sites are accessed using an Ansys ID, creating a consistent sign-in experience across all Ansys resources. Additionally, signing in to one site provides automatic access to other sites requiring Ansys ID access, eliminating the need to sign in again during the current browser session. If you have an existing Customer Portal account, see the next topic for sign-in instructions.
Previously, a Customer Portal account was required to access the Ansys Customer Portal, Ansys Help site, Ansys API Documentation site, and other Ansys resources. Your Customer Portal account has been automatically converted to an Ansys ID.
Your Ansys ID and your ALH subscription have different usernames.
If the ALH does not recognize the username (your registered email address) from your Ansys ID, you need to contact trai...@ansys.com to adjust your username (email) for your ALH subscription.
You have an Ansys ID, but you do not have an Ansys Learning Hub subscription.

Ansys employees are no longer required to create separate Ansys ID accounts to sign in to SSO-enabled Ansys sites and applications such as the Customer Portal, Ansys Help, Ansys API Documentation, etc. When Ansys employees are already signed in to their Ansys employee accounts (the accounts used for Microsoft Windows, Office 365, etc.), only an email address is required for access. If not already signed in, Ansys employees will also need to enter their Ansys employee account password and any other information required for employee authentication.
Ansys employees taken to the HRIS instead of the Learning Hub
When an Ansys employee tries to access the Ansys Learning Hub (ALH) while already signed in to the HRIS, the employee will be taken to the HRIS homepage. This is because the HRIS and the ALH are both SAP products and share a cookie. The solution is to access the two applications in different browsers.
If your company has purchased subscriptions, an administrator may add you to the subscription user pool. When this happens, an Ansys ID is created for you automatically if you do not already have one. When a subscription is assigned to you, you will need to sign in to the product or service to begin using it.
