Results for June will be out on the 6th of July.
The purpose of
these challenges is to encourage birders to keep track of their own sightings while at the same time help document India's birds.
The challenges are run as part of a
large consortium of organisations and groups,
whose goal is to document the distribution and abundance of Indian birds on a common and open platform.
Until now, nearly 400,000 observations of Indian birds have been
contributed to the eBird platform, and between 20,000 and 30,000 new observations are being uploaded very month.
