I am the project and bucket owner and have Storage Admin and Storage Object Admin access, but I have been unable to access any on my bucket since the bucket was restricted due to incorrectly suspected anomalous use. I filed an appeal and the bucket and project were reinstated, but I still get that error when trying to access objects in my bucket.

By default, project owners, editors, and viewers are granted roles/storage.legacyBucketOwner when buckets are established. However, this permission may always be withdrawn, and many users prefer to do so in order to have more granular control over access to bucket data rather than project resources.

I have confirmed that I am listed as roles/storage.admin and roles/storage.legacyBucketOwner. But still do not have access and see the error: "Additional permissions required to list objects in this bucket. Ask a bucket owner to grant you 'storage.objects.list' permission."

Before the bucket was restricted due to incorrectly suspected anomalous use, all of my access was working fine. I am curious if there is still some restriction on this bucket by accident. I have responded to the email regarding our successful appeal but was referred to this forum.

I am having trouble uploading files to an S3 bucket using Retool. I have configured the S3 resource properly and have tested it with other queries, such as listing all files from the S3 bucket. However, the upload resource query is not working. I have reviewed the documentation and also added CORS rules to the S3 permissions, but the issue persists.

Following recovery from an unplanned power outage, I got the message "Error in 'databasePartitionPolicy': Failed to read 1 event(s) from rawdata in bucket 'exchange_index497E8A41E0F-9507-4F30-B283-B1E932EAA801'. Rawdata may be corrupt, see search.log" while doing a search in the GUI. I had previously run a 'splunk fsck --repair --all'.

Taking the time the search was running in, I got the epoch time and figured-out what bucket was involved. I then used 'splunk rebuild' to rebuild the bucket (with splunkd stopped). Here is the result:

And after receiving a message in the buckets overview tab in the S3 management console stating "Error: Access Denied", I've been trying to set up a policy that will give me access back so I can just delete the bucket and start over. The policy now looks like this:

... it's because you set a policy that doesn't grant anyone the right to delete the bucket. Funnily enough, if you tell AWS to not let anyone delete a bucket, AWS will not let anyone delete the bucket. If you want someone to be able to delete the bucket, you'll need to grant them the s3:DeleteBucket policy.

Before I noticed the error, I made a change to another setting and saved the job out to all child sites, which ended up disconnecting with S3 because no bucket was selected. I had to spend a day and a half going to each individual child site to reselect the S3 bucket and save the settings for each backup job.

I am having the same issue. I took a quick look at it and at least for me the issue appears to be a problem with the binding of the buckets to the Angular dropdown. The buckets are getting populated in the SELECT element, but not getting rendered in the Angular dropdown. As a quick fix I removed the bucket data binding and just hard-coded the bucket I wanted to use into the SELECT element. This is obviously a quick fix until this can be addressed in the plugin.

I have more info on this one. After I got the bucket configured I started to get the same error @ten9its was getting about the version not being set. When getting this error the S3 client construction fails so no buckets are returned. I looked into it and my guess is that the AWS SDK in the extension was updated from version 2 to 3. This means a couple changes need to be made to the S3 client configuration. I made the following modification and it is now working for me. Hope this helps.

In this blog post, we will discuss an error message that you might encounter when trying to create a Quay registry using the Quay operator from the OCP Operator Hub. The error message suggests a problem with object storage support and specifically mentions the absence of the "ObjectBucketClaim" kind in the "objectbucket.io/v1alpha1" version. We will explore the prerequisites for the Quay operator and address this error by setting up the required object storage using NooBaa.

Upon attempting to create a Quay registry, the error message appears, indicating an issue with the object storage component dependency. The error states: "error checking for object storage support: unable to list object bucket claims: no matches for kind 'ObjectBucketClaim' in version 'objectbucket.io/v1alpha1'."

Verify ObjectBucketClaim (OBC) Kind: Once NooBaa is up and running, validate that the "ObjectBucketClaim" kind exists in the expected version "objectbucket.io/v1alpha1" by running the following command:

I have created a storage bucket and successfully authenticated and mounted the storage bucket in my Linux Machine. I am able to read Write and Delete the files from my Linux machine as well as from the WebUI.

Unable to connect to bucket. Could not connect to your bucket. We encountered the following error: 403 Forbidden GET {"code" : 403, "errors" : [ "domain" : "global, "message" : does not have storage.objects.list access to the Google Cloud Storage bucket. Permission storage.objects.list denied on resource (or it may not exist)."

Scenario: say in GIMP you have a logo image, you increase the Canvas, center the logo inside the enlarged canvas, and you want to fill the extra canvas with an eye-dropper color. However, the paint bucket shows a black circle with line through it indicating no-can-do.

Michael Schumacher was right about the root cause. The layer has a fixed size. So the correct answer, at least for Gimp 2.8 is to select the layer, then select "Layer"->"Layer To Image size" from the menu.

I don't think this is the issue OP experienced but the issue I had seems related. GIMP can save a selection area to file. If the file was saved after selecting a single pixel on a large image, the next time it's opened every paint bucket, pencil, brush, etc operation won't work on any layer (except for that single pixel which you might not notice). Just select or deselect all.

Another potential solution if creating a new layer from visible does not solve the problem. I had an image where I cleared out the solid background using "Color to Alpha". I could not get GIMP to bucket fill the inside area of the image. I then checked on "Fill transparent areas" checkbox in the Bucket Fill Tool Options (below "Finding Similar Colors" heading) and that did the trick.

I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the connectivity issue I am facing with a specific AWS S3 bucket in the MultCloud platform. Despite investing significant time and effort, I have been unable to establish a connection to the S3 bucket that holds critical work data.

Upon entering my credentials and adding the S3 bucket to the My Cloud Drive list, the loading process seems to be stuck indefinitely. While I understand that the bucket contains a substantial amount of data, I patiently allowed for an extended period of time, hoping it would eventually load. Regrettably, even after waiting for hours, the loading process remains unresolved.

To rule out any issues on my end, I attempted to connect a different S3 bucket with minimal data, and the process succeeded flawlessly. This confirms that my credentials are indeed valid and functional. Therefore, it appears to be a specific issue related to the connection with my primary S3 bucket, which houses my crucial work files.

I sincerely hope that you will prioritize my concern and provide the necessary guidance or technical support required to establish a successful connection with my primary AWS S3 bucket. Your attention to this matter and swift resolution will greatly restore my confidence in the service I have subscribed to.

For example, that guide shows a module that depends on the existence of a VPC but rather than going out and fetching the VPC itself it instead expects the caller to pass it in. The caller can then either pass an aws_vpc resource it is directly managing or a result from the aws_vpc data source, depending on whether the calling configuration is the one that manages this VPC.

You could do a similar thing with whatever data that might potentially be coming from this terraform_remote_state: rather than requesting it directly, instead declare a variable that expects to receive an object type that terraform_remote_state.resource.outputs would conform to and in configurations that run before that remote state exists, pass in the necessary data some other way instead, or perhaps set it to null if the data is optional and the module is able to operate without it.

Problem here is that aws_terraform_remote_state resource will throw 2 errors. One saying that key do not exist (Wrongly Access Denied even tho you have 404 from AWS) and straight after that not being able to parse key of terraform_remote_state resource like shown in original post.

I faced the same issue with Duplicati2 beta on Windows. What worked for me was to remove the AWS Access ID from the bucket name, which duplicati had prompted to prepend. I removed it to just test with only the bucket name, and it worked.

When I try to test the connection by supplying just the bucket name, it asks to prepend with the username, and asks whether it should prepend automatically. If I choose yes, then it prepends it with Access Key ID and the test connection does not work after that.

I am noticing unexpected behaviour in my package. I am noticing that the controls against the package in /crx/de are limited, compared to other packages. The same goes for the Filters section. Please see images, the first one indicates that the controls and the Filters are missing, the second one shows the expected behaviour(from another package).
