We are pleased to offer Spanish Language Afterschool Enrichment for Brooklyn Arbor 1st and 2nd grade dual language students, to be held every Thursday from 2.40 to 4.30pm. The movement, Spanish practice and arts enrichment is designed to benefit all students, whether Spanish or English dominant.
The Fall Session begins this Thursday, Sept 11 and will run every week except holidays and parent conference days until the December holiday break (12 sessions, no class Sept 25, Nov 13, Nov 27). Every week students will take part in Yoga and World Dance led in Spanish, with two teaching artists from Yogi Beans and Williamsburg Movement & Arts Center (WMAAC) directing each class. Brooklyn Arbor dual language teachers will provide oversight. 1st and 2nd graders will be mixed into two groups that will move together through the two classes.
Our providers are offering classes at a steep discount. The total session cost is $360, to be paid via check to Brooklyn Arbor. Please note Spanish Afterschool Enrichment in the memo. We are committed to ensure finances are not a barrier. Scholarships or financial assistance can be requested through your child's teacher. Installments are also OK. We need to make a first payment to providers at the start of class. Your help getting fees in quickly is appreciated.
*Note: St Nicks afterschool participants should talk with your teacher before registering for Spanish Afterschool Enrichment.
