Family Friday signups/Donors Choose/Snack

• The VolunteerSpot Family Friday is ready to go for the next two months.  I have large magnolia leaves if anyone would like to come next Friday (9/12) to lead the kids in a painting/decorating session.  There are lots of leaf painting ideas on pinterest.  Also, 9/19 is crazy hat day so if someone would like to gather materials from the depot and help with crazy hat making that would be much appreciated!

• Our Donors Choose proposal was funded!!!! Wow thank you to all who made donations.
  

• Snack: Last year second grade did not have snack because lunch is at a more reasonable hour (11:20).  I am willing to consider having a small snack at 10am (one item that does not require utensils such as a granola bar, a piece of fruit, fruit squeeze, etc).  We can discuss this as a group on parent night.  For the next week or so, I will gauge how the kids do in the morning without having snack time.
