Junior Research Fellow Position in SERB Sponsored Project 

 

Walk-in-Interview for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB sponsored major research project. The details of the project are as under: 

 

Name of the Project

 “Molecular characterization and degradation ability of prevailing microbes associated with heavy metal polluted sites (bauxite mines), kolli hill, Eastern Ghats, Tamilnadu” 

No. of post:   One 

Qualification :  M.Sc. Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Botany/ Zoology/ Life Science or Equivalent degree with first class. 

Preference will be given to NET or GATE qualified candidates. 

Desirable qualification: Working experiences in the relevant fields. 

Age:  The upper age limit is 28 years at the time of appointment 

Fellowship : Rs.12,000/- p.m. for first two years & Rs. 14,000/-p.m. for third year 

Date & Time of  Walk-in -Interview : 21st OCTOBER, 2013 (Monday); Time: 11:00AM 

Venue : Department of Biotechnology, Periyar University, Salem 

Nature and duration of post : The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
