Instructions to Ph. D. Applicants
1. Online examination will be held on November 15, 2013 at 9.00 am in the Thanjavur campus. Students have to report by 8.30 am
2. The online test will be for 2 hours duration and will contain two sections – (i) General Aptitude and (ii) Technical Section
3. General Aptitude will be for one hour duration and will consist of three sections – Verbal, Quantitative and Analytical
4. Technical section will also be for one hour duration
5. The candidate is expected to choose any three subjects from the list for the Technical section. Detailed syllabus of the subjects for each discipline is available in the

6. All questions will be multiple choice type with no negative marking
7. Calculators will be permitted only for the technical section
8. Applicants who clear the online test will have to appear for a personal interview on the same day
9. Selected candidates for the Ph. D. program will be required to join on or before December 12, 2013
