Transformational Changes in Higher Education:

Global Excellence through Governance, Research and Innovation

29 & 30 November 2013 at Hotel Le Meridien, Coimbatore

 

I am pleased to inform you that, the first edition of the CII National Higher Education Conclave with the theme “Transformational Change in Higher Education: Global Excellence through Governance, Research and Innovation scheduled on 29 – 30 November 2013 at Hotel Le Meridien, Coimbatore. The programme is shaping up very well and the tentative programme is enclosed for your reference please.

 

The aim is to encourage an open and inclusive format for discussion and the sharing of ideas, meetings of minds, directed at points of discussion, difference, or difficulty around the key streams of the conference vis-à-vis the themes.

 

The two day National Higher Education Conclave would have sessions focused on the topics relating to the management, administration and teaching excellence with paper presentations and case studies that are needed for the institutions to bench mark their strategic growth & development and would be attended by College Chairpersons, Trustees, Secretaries, Board Members, CEO’s, Directors and the rest of teaching fraternity. We are expecting around 500 delegates across the country to participate in the conclave.

CII jointly with Deloitte is planning to come out with an exclusive report on higher education in India that would also include the concerns and challenges faced by the Administrators of Higher educational institutions in India and bring out the findings to the government and other Higher education regulatory bodies in India. The report would also highlight the recommendations that could ease the functioning of higher educational institutions. 

 

Institution and industry members are requested to utilize this exclusive opportunity to interact with senior official of the higher education sector and to discuss the issues and challenges in the Higher education sector by nominating senior official to attend the conclave.
