This is just a brief note to kindly remind you of the following ongoing topics regarding the ICNF2015:
· Call for Abstracts – Extended Abstracts of two full pages will be accepted until 30th October 2014. Submit your extended abstract at: http://www.icnf2015.fibrenamics.com/submissions
· New Keynote Speaker announcement
o Prof. Juan Hinestroza, Cornell University, NY – USA will give a lecture about “Teaching Cotton New Tricks via Manipulation of Nanoscale Phenomena”.
o Prof. Aart W. van Vuure, Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium – will give a lecture about “Natural bio-composites: research highlights on the performance of bamboo, flax and hemp fibers”
· DNFI Session – The DNFI (Discover Natural Fibers Initiative) will organize a special session inside ICNF2015 programme called “Natural fibers today and tomorrow - the market situation”
· Papers - Selected papers will be published by HINDAWI in a special issue of CONFERENCE PAPERS IN MATERIALS SCIENCE. Info at: http://www.hindawi.com/journals/cpis/
· Natural Fibrenamics Award 2015 – a showcase of the latest innovations in the field of natural fibers, both for the scientific and industrial communities. All the information and application at: http://www.icnf2015.fibrenamics.com/awards
