Job Description
· To develop novel biosensing/lab-on-chip technologies for medical diagnostics applications.
· Leverage prior art, latest technical advancements and innovative methods to solve real world problems.
· Creating, developing, implementing and stabilizing custom mass production machines for high throughput good quality production of biosensing disposables designed
· Working with other teams and contributing with ideas and expertise to accelerate their technology developments
· Working in a multidisciplinary environment for the end product development.
· Establish a sound research base within the department in order to develop research objectives, projects and proposals.
· Participate with multidisciplinary teams to support the development of next generation biosensors.
· Troubleshoot and solve design and fabrication problems as they are encountered in R&D.
· Work with other Scientists, Engineers, and Technicians to execute experimental designs.
· Ensuring compliances with respect to health and safety in all aspects of work.
Qualification Required
· PhD/Masters/B.Tech in Biosensors/Bioelectronics/Lab-on-chip
· Exposure and expertise on one or more of the following areas: Lab-on-chip , Electrochemistry, Immunology, Polymer Science, Microfluidics, BioMEMS, Micro-optics, enzyme engineering, etc.
· Exposure to screen printing, CVD, PVD, Laser etching, lithography, SEM, NMR, FTIR, etc. techniques.
· Ability to cowork with people from different disciplines. Ability to learn new techniques and sciences quickly.
· Educational, industrial and/or hands-on experience of biomedical sensor technologies.
· Proven track record of lateral thinking, independent thinking, new pathbreaking ideas generation, high personal drive, self-motivation and quick turnarounds.
