Hello All,

We are pleased to announce that selected entries from the 'Research Expo' will also be given a chance to go for an education trip to ISRO and interact with scientists from ISRO team.

Apart from that, the participants of the Research Expo will also be given a special chance to interact with the speakers of the Shaastra Lecture Series.

This is a fantastic opportunity to network with experts from similar field of expertise and possibly convert this into summer research projects at prestigious institutions.

Greeting from Shaastra 2015!

“Research is to see what everybody else has seen, and to think what nobody else has thought.”  

          Shaastra,IIT Madras cordially invites you to IITM Research Expo-2015, an event to showcase the new dimension of research happening across all the departments. The event aims to be a common platform for students to share, learn and demonstrate the research works of institute students.  If you are thrilled about your field and working on a tremendous research project then come join us and we shall help portraying your research work experience.

All B.tech and Dual Degree Projects are also welcome! There is a separate category for undergraduate research projects. 

All interested students please fill this Google form before 8th December 2014. All the teams will have to prepare a poster explaining their project.The deadline mentioned is not for the submission of the poster.  The overall prize money for the event is  worth Rs.1 Lakh. Rs.25,000/- will be awarded for the best undergraduate project.
