Hey all,

You are cordially invited to attend the talk by Prof. Jean-Michel Redoute
from Monash Univ. Australia.

Venue: GG conf. room
Date and time: Thursday 21st September, starting at 2:30pm

Details of the talk are as follows.

Title of the talk: Research Overview in the Biomedical Circuits and
Sensors (BICS) Group at Monash University.

Abstract - This presentation will give an overview on the research which
is carried out at the Biomedical Integrated Circuits and Sensors (BICS)
group at Monash University, and go more in detail in a number of select
research topics, including: ultra-low power interfaces for biomedical
implants, a miniaturised high-data rate dual-band UWB sensor node, an EMI-resistant
LVDS transceiver, a low-EMI integrated DC/DC converter, and a capacitive
pressure sensor interface.

Speaker's biodata:
Jean-Michel Redoute received the M.Eng. degree in electrical engineering
from the University of Brussels, Brussels, Belgium, in 2001.  He then
started working at Alcatel Bell, Antwerpen, where he was involved in the
design of analog microelectronic circuits for telecommunications systems.
In January 2005, he joined the University of Leuven as a Ph.D. Research
Assistant.  In September 2009, he started working as a Postdoctoral
Scholar at the Berkeley Wireless Research Center, University of
California, Berkeley.  In September 2010, he joined Monash University as a
Senior Lecturer. His research interests include mixed-signal integrated circuit
design, electromagnetic compatibility, biomedical (integrated and
nonintegrated) circuit design, and radio frequency-integrated circuit
design.
